Chiropractic Care + Rehab

Our Treatment Techniques

Joint Manipulations/Adjustments

Joint manipulation or chiropractic adjustments use the doctors hands to provide a gentle thrust to unlock stiff or restricted joints to reduce pain and increase joint movement.

Hands Doing Dry Needling Acupuncture

Dry Needling

Dry Needling involves the insertion of a small needle (similar to acupuncture) with the goal of creating a therapeutic change in the muscle, nerve, or joint. Dry needling is effective at treating spine injuries, chronic pain, sports injuries, and headaches and/or migraines.

Kinesiotape on lower back

Kinesiotaping

Stretchy tape is applied over painful tissues which can provide mild structural support and decrease pain by providing novel input during movement.

Soft Tissue Work

Techniques such as Active Release Technique (ART), percussion massage, trigger point therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM/scraping) all help to release muscle tension and soreness using the provider's hands or some other device.

Rehabilitative Exercise

Movement is medicine! Movement and exercise are utilized to decrease pain, promote proper movement patterning, and build strength and resiliency in tissues. Some of these techniques include McKenzie Method (MDT), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Neurodynamics, and general strength training.

cupping on lower back

Suction produces a negative pressure which encourages blood flow and can be used to enhance the sliding of tissues.
