DADS IN HIGH-DEFINITION
Increase your energy • Improve your health • Ditch the dad bod
Dads in HD is designed to help increase your energy, improve your health, and ditch the dad bod without making drastic changes to where you spend your time and attention.
Because let’s face it. You’re a busy dad focusing on working hard to provide a comfortable living for your family and spending time with them — but this has left little time and energy for your health and fitness and its become increasingly easy to grab a burger and fries for lunch and skip your workout for the day. You may have even packed on a few extra pounds and feel a bit more sluggish than you used to. But theres hope, you don’t have to alienate your family and get demoted at work in order to be a fit and healthy dad. You just need to learn how to integrate great health and fitness behaviors and habits into your already busy life. By doing so, you’ll not only be able to model healthy behaviors for your kids, you’ll also have more energy and vitality to feed right back into your work and family. The Dads in HD group coaching program is all about helping you integrate the 4 main pillars of health (nutrition, stress management, sleep, movement) into the busy life you’re already living, without making drastic changes to how you spend your time and attention.
If you’ve been….
Burning the candle at both ends for work in order to provide financial security
Shuttling the kids to and from after-school and weekend activities constantly
Getting all those projects done around the house
And…it’s left you stressed out, sleeping poorly, with too little time and energy for making healthy meal choices and exercising.
This program is for you… ⬇️
I get it. Energy and time are resources just like money and must be delegated and budgeted wisely so they don’t run completely dry. ⬇️
The focus in Dads in HD is finding and using the MED (minimum effective dose), using as little energy and time as possible to reap the greatest possible return for your health. ⬇️
In the gym the sudden and rapid uptick in strength and muscle building is called “newbie gains” and that’s exactly what we’re after in this program. Making the biggest impact on the shortest amount of time because you’re relatively new to this. We’re not about majoring in the minors, we will address the big things first, and settle the details when the time comes. ⬇️
This group will not only provide the practical knowledge, education, and expertly tailored solutions for integrating health into your life, it will also provide you with tangible results in the way that you feel, look, and navigate the world as a confident and healthy dad!
Meet Your Coach
I’m Brandon Reed — dad, husband, backyard chicken guy, gardener, lifelong sports and fitness participant, nutrition coach, black coffee fanatic, and Active Lifestyle and Performance Chiropractor at my own practice, Trajectory Spine + Strength.
I have a two-year-old daughter and becoming a dad has ignited a vigor to spend time with and provide for my family that often times gets in the way of my fitness and health endeavors.
I learned quickly that health and fitness while “dad-ing” doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing game. You can integrate fitness and health INTO your life as a great dad and provider without much extra time and energy — and that’s what I’m here to help you do!
I first thought of the concept for Dads in HD after a family trip to Great Wolf Lodge, a hotel waterpark that is largely a waste of money with a 1.5 year old (she was entertained inside the water park for a whopping 13 minutes before asking to leave 🙃).
What I witnessed was a group of shirtless dads that indicated that the state of fitness and health for Midwest fathers was absolutely horrible. Now, I have no doubt that most of the guys I saw walking around with their kids were great, attentive fathers who’d do anything to protect and provide for their families, but by the looks of it, they had neglected their own health in the process.
When I have been at my unhealthiest, I felt like I was seeing, experiencing, and interacting with the world in standard definition, or maybe even worse than that. It was like the graphics of Madden ‘03 on a Playstation 1, hooked up to a 24” TV, compared to today’s version of the game, on a brand new PS5 displayed on an 80” 4K behemoth. Everything was shrouded in a fog from my brain to my body and although I wanted to change, I’d gotten complacent in that rut because it wasn’t challenging and at least there were great snacks. Something needs to jolt you out of that rut and put you on a different path!
It took a seemingly big wake up call to make the changes needed and work my way back to great health and I began seeing and living in the world in HD again. This is your wake up call. This is the path back to lifting the fog, upgrading the graphics card and experiencing the world in HD as a healthy dad.
This is a 12-week group coaching program where we will have a combination of short educational presentations to keep you up to speed on what best-practices are for the 4 main pillars of health, free-style group coaching calls where I answer your most pressing questions, concerns and we work together to find simple and doable solutions to your most intricate “life is messy and busy” situations, and guest experts to help us dive a bit deeper into specific subjects that they help guys with every day.
At any other point when we aren’t on calls, you wont be far from inspiration or help. In the Heartbeat app, you’ll be able to access resources, chat with other dads, stay accountable, and ask questions right on your device.
“Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, story-tellers, and singers of song.”

If you’ll use it, a gym membership can be a wildly helpful tool in your journey — If you’ve been paying for one for months or years and rarely use it, I’ll probably try to talk you into cancelling it and finding something you’ll actually utilize!
Fitness and movement is for all, the gym is for those who like it and will use it. There are plenty of other options to explore!
